ESP Properties to Represent Sponsorship Rights for Torabika Soccer Championship

Agency provides critical commercial support to long-awaited return of top-flight professional soccer to Indonesia.

ESP Properties is proud to have been selected as the sponsorship sales representative for the organizers of Indonesia’s Torabika Soccer Championship presented by IM3 Ooredoo. The professional league officially launched with a media event in Jakarta on Monday, April 18 and played its first match Friday, April 29.

Part of WPP’s GroupM—the world’s leading media investment management group—ESP Properties is dedicated to working with sports and entertainment rightsholders such as Torabika Soccer Championship to grow revenue, and presenting best-in-class partnership opportunities to brands within and beyond the WPP client network.

Two key parties behind the Torabika Soccer Championship—PT GTS, the rightsholder managing all commercial and logistical arrangements of the championship, and EMTEK, one of Indonesia’s largest media companies—appointed ESP Properties as agency of choice to structure the league's sponsorship packages and secure brand partners for the season. In representing this prestigious property, ESP Properties will engage with its extensive corporate and brand contacts across the APAC region.

Running through December 2016, the Torabika Soccer Championship features Indonesia's top 18 soccer clubs competing head to head. The country has been eagerly awaiting the start of the new season since the last Indonesian Super League concluded in 2014.

The highly anticipated soccer championship, title sponsored by Torabika and presented by IM3 Ooredoo, is made up of three divisions and two youth leagues that will kick off over 34 weeks. Cosponsors of the league include BTPN and Kuku Bima.

Separately, ESP Brands, the brand consultancy sibling of ESP Properties, has been appointed by IM3 Ooredoo, as the company’s primary strategic activation agency.
