In addition to his role with ESP Properties, Matt is deputy head of investment for GroupM across the APAC region and also runs the Content division for the region.
He is responsible for operations across 16 markets in APAC comprising the largest network of brand-focused content agency businesses (embedded within the GroupM media management agencies) in the region, with more than 300 dedicated specialists developing content strategy, production, measurement, optimization and integration for some of the world’s largest advertisers and brands—including Unilever, P&G, PepsiCo, Colgate and Ford, as well as many others. These businesses include Mindshare Content+, MEC Wavemaker, Maxus Content and Mediacom MBA.
Matt also oversees GroupM’s Content Investment business (GroupM Entertainment) in the region. GroupM Entertainment was formed in growing response to the Group’s interest in getting better access to premium content and inventory to benefit client and audience needs.
Matt is based in Singapore and has been in the region for more than three years. Previously, he was with Omnicom in London managing the company’s Trading and Content teams in the U.K. Matt has worked in TV sales at NBC Sports and with Publicis and Omnicom. Prior to his current GroupM role, he was with Mediacom as chief investment officer for APAC.
